Oh my stars.. I can’t even begin to tell you how much of a life changing experience this past weekend was! Just walking in the doors of the Embassy hotel and conference center, you could feel the presence of God.
Meet Tammy & Darcy! These two ladies pictured above with me are my prayer partners! We became great friends instantly! We’ve been emailing and lifting each other up for weeks now. Look for them guest posting here some in the near future! ❤
Time to get started! Lysa Terkeurst kicked off the weekend with her opening session, “The Best Yes!” {Her new book, The Best Yes, comes out in August! You don’t want to miss it! We were able to purchase it early and it’s an awesome read!}
I’m telling you what, the food was AMAZING.
Praise & Worship was incredible!
After one of the sessions, I was able to meet Lysa Terkeurst! She was so personal and said her prayer for my friend and I was that we would find God’s purpose for us this weekend. And boy, did God speak so clearly!
I had my very first publisher’s appointment with Kathleen Kerr of Harvest House Friday morning for my mom’s 30 day devotional book! She was a blast and we really connected! She seemed super excited about my book and requested my book proposal and asked me to email her another writing sample! {God is awesome!} She also spoke at one of the classes I was in, called “The Art of Writing.” (below pictures)
I have never experienced God’s favor like I have this weekend. It feels so good to be back home with family, but man I miss it already!
I will share more details soon, but wanted to share a few pictures and memorable moments with you guys! If you’re a writer or speaker, it’s definitely worth checking into for next year!
